The Cell Library is finally up, ladies and gentlemen, and good to go.

How to use the library (version 1.2):

1. The Book List is above. Leave a comment (either on the tagboard or here) with your name and the book that you want to borrow. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, feel free to email me the request at fabianlau@gmail.com. Note: this might change if we decide to create a new email specifically for the blog.

2. I will bring the book to you on the next cell day.

3. If you wish to pick it up from me on a non-cell day (perhaps because you really want to read the book like, now, or because you won't be at cell), just let me know in the comment. We can always liaise via sms, but that's more expensive.

4. Each book is loaned to you for a maximum duration of 1 month. You can choose to renew the loan provided there's no one else in the queue.

The 5 Commandments of the library (correct as of 8-Oct-2008):

1. Thou shalt not use the book as a drink coaster or some other function in which the book might be Damaged.

2. Thou shalt not lose the book that thou dost borroweth, else the Wrath of the Abyss cometh heavily upon thee.

3. Thou shalt treat the book as thine own, unless thou treateth thine books as dirt, in which case thou shalt treat the book as thine child (unless thou treateth thine child as dirt, but thou gets what I am sayingeth).

4. Thou shalt remember the Returning Date and keep it holy (by returning thine books on time, or renewing them).

5. Honor thine Librarian and Abyssal Lord, else we shalt make things very uncomfortable for thee.

Recent changes to the blog (updated 17 Nov 08):

1. Most books now have links, complete with book scans and descriptions.

2. Book pages now list who have borrowed the book before so you can find out more about it from people who've read it.

Upcoming improvements (updated 17 Nov 08):

1. Completing the list of books (there have been new additions since a few weeks ago, sorry for the delay).

2. A more automated way of informing people about their overdue books.
